As the owner of an older british sports car (1975 Triumph TR6), it is hard to find a good shop I trust to maintain it. When I moved to Spokane, I knew I would eventually need a shop, so I went looking on the mechanics database at cartalk.com.

C&H got great reviews on cartalk.com and they weren't too far away so I just started looking at what was parked out front when I happened by. I regularly saw other old british cars so evidently others were trusting them with their cars.

I let them replace the servo and master cylinder on my TR6. Their initial quote was quite high because their parts house wanted way too much for the servo. I asked if I could bring my own servo in and have them install it. They were OK with that. I was able to find the OEM servo for about 1/2 the price at The Roadster Factory. Once I had the servo in hand I returned and they got it installed.

When I picked the car up I found the brake light was on. I recalled having this issue myself years ago when I last worked on the brakes. Examining the shop manual I found that a pressure differential valve needed to be reset. I took the car back (this time with the shop manual which they didn't have), and they quickly corrected the problem with no further charge.

Since then my brakes have worked great. Probably better than any time I ever worked on them. So far, these guys have done a good job and I will continue to trust my TR6 to them.
